Seeing Machines brings its EU-proven driver-monitoring chip from car cabins to humanoid robots
Seeing Machines — the Australian company behind FOVIO, the low-power vision chip used in driver monitoring in modern cars — has launched a Physical AI Platform for humanoid robots, according to its launch announcement. The core idea set out in the announcement: a robot’s perception should run on the machine itself, at automotive-grade reliability, not in the cloud.
