Fujitsu and Anthropic Join Forces: Claude AI Enters the Enterprise Sector Through Cloud Services

Fujitsu has officially confirmed a partnership with the American startup Anthropic, aimed at integrating Claude models into a broader range of cloud and enterprise solutions. This move represents a significant shift in how large corporations will use generative AI for complex work processes. While AI was previously seen more as a conversational tool, thanks to the collaboration between Fujitsu and Anthropic, it is becoming a fixed part of the infrastructure for data processing and decision-making automation.

Strategic alliance: Fujitsu, Anthropic, and the future of enterprise AI

A fundamental shift in the distribution of large language models (LLMs) is currently taking place in the tech world. Fujitsu, a leader in IT solutions and cloud services, has decided to open its portfolio to models from Anthropic. This means that entrepreneurs and large corporations will be able to leverage the capabilities of the Claude model directly through Fujitsu's infrastructure, ensuring a higher level of security and integration into existing systems.

This move is not an isolated incident. It reflects a broader trend in which tech giants and telecom operators are investing enormous sums into AI infrastructure. For example, South Korean operator SK Telecom has already invested nearly 100 million dollars in Anthropic with the goal of developing multilingual LLM platforms for the global telecom market. Fujitsu is thus positioning itself as a key provider that "translates" these advanced models into the language of specific business processes.

Why Claude? A comparison with the competition

For both laypeople and experts, the question is: why should a company choose Claude over the popular ChatGPT (OpenAI) or Gemini (Google)? The answer lies in the architecture and development philosophy. Anthropic uses a method called Constitutional AI. This method allows the model to adhere to a specific set of ethical and safety rules, making Claude one of the safest models for enterprise deployment, where the risk of "hallucinations" (fabricating facts) is a critical factor.

Looking at benchmarks, Claude (particularly version 3.5 Sonnet and Opus) achieves extremely high results in tests such as MMLU (Massive Multitask Language Understanding), where it often rivals or even surpasses OpenAI's GPT-4o. Claude excels particularly in:

  • Long context window: The ability to process entire document libraries at once without losing coherence.
  • Nuanced reasoning: A better ability to grasp tone and subtle details in complex instructions.
  • Programming and logic: Remarkable accuracy in code generation and solving mathematical problems.

Technical impact: From 5G to the autonomous enterprise world

Integrating LLMs into the corporate sphere is not just about chatting. It is about connecting with infrastructure. As earlier trends in 5G and edge computing indicate (see technological innovations from Fujitsu and Nokia), the future lies in AI running as close to the data as possible. The combination of fast networks and powerful models like Claude enables real-time analysis in industrial facilities, automation of logistics, and intelligent management of energy grids.

For companies, this means the ability to implement systems that not only answer queries but actively monitor machine conditions, predict failures, and propose optimal solutions based on thousands of pages of technical documentation, which the Claude model can instantly search through using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

Availability in the Czech Republic and the European context

For Czech companies and users, the key questions are availability and legislation. Claude is available in Czech, and its ability to work with European languages is at a very high level. This makes it a strong candidate for the Czech market, where AI is still learning the specifics of the local context.

From a regulatory standpoint, alignment with the EU AI Act is essential. Because Anthropic places great emphasis on safety and transparency (thanks to the aforementioned Constitutional AI), its models are far more attractive to European enterprises that must strictly comply with GDPR and new European AI regulations than some less transparent models from other parts of the world. Fujitsu, as a partner, guarantees that deployment will take place within secure cloud frameworks that meet European data protection standards.

Pricing and how to get started

Claude's availability is divided into several tiers, enabling flexibility for both individuals and corporations:

  • Claude Free Tier: A free version with a limited number of queries, ideal for testing the model's capabilities.
  • Claude Pro: A subscription for individuals (approx. 20 USD / month), offering higher limits and priority access.
  • Claude API / Enterprise: For companies, via Fujitsu or directly from Anthropic. Here, pricing is based on usage (number of tokens) and solution complexity. For large enterprise contracts, pricing is negotiated individually based on data volume and security requirements.

For Czech companies, the best approach is to monitor Fujitsu's offerings or use direct API integrations if they have their own development teams. Claude's ability to work with the Czech language is already sufficient today for a wide range of business applications, from customer support to contract analysis.

Is Claude safe for processing sensitive corporate data?

Yes, especially thanks to the Constitutional AI method and the ability to deploy in closed cloud environments (e.g., via Fujitsu), where data is isolated and not used for training public models.

How well does Claude handle the Czech language compared to GPT-4?

Claude demonstrates a very high level of semantic accuracy in Czech. While GPT-4 can sometimes be "verbose," Claude tends toward a more natural and concise phrasing, which is often desirable in the Czech context.

Can I use Claude without a technical background?

Yes, through the Claude.ai interface, you can use the model as a regular chatbot. However, for advanced use within a company (e.g., process automation), it is necessary to use the API or solutions offered by partners like Fujitsu.
