What Is Claude for Marketing — and What It Isn't
Claude for Marketing is not a standalone product or a new model. It's a tutorial page on claude.com that offers marketers ready-made prompts divided into several categories. Each prompt is formulated so that Claude can start working immediately — it asks the user for the necessary information, suggests an output structure, and creates an interactive artifact that can be further worked with.
The prompts cover four main areas: writing (brand voice creation, style improvement, brainstorming), learning (clear explanations of complex topics, exam preparation), coding (concept explanations, code review), and other tasks (case studies, grant applications, video scripts).
For marketers, the Write category is particularly interesting, as it directly targets daily activities — from defining the tone of communication for a target audience to generating creative campaign ideas. In practice, this means that instead of a blank page, Claude asks you two to three questions and then immediately offers a concrete output based on them.
Claude Cowork: Automation That Learns
Even more interesting is the related tutorial for Claude Cowork — a tool from Anthropic designed for automating repetitive tasks. In marketing, this mainly means regular reports and weekly reviews. The process works like this: you define a "skill" once that describes where it pulls data from (email, calendar, project tool), what the output format is, and what Claude should ask about. Then you set a scheduled run — for example, every Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
When you open your computer on Monday morning, the data is already downloaded and the first version of the report is ready. Claude also suggests what the report should focus on — but leaves the final decision to you. Once you approve the outline, it writes out the text, creates tables with metrics, and on request also prepares a one-page summary for management or a post for the company Slack.
The key advantage: every correction, improvement, or format change is saved back into the skill. Next week, Claude already knows that you prefer bar charts over line charts, or that you track a certain metric weekly, not monthly. This isn't about one-off prompts — it's about continuously improving automation.
What This Means for Czech Marketers
Claude is fully available in the Czech Republic — the country appears on the official list of supported countries for both Claude.ai and commercial API access. This means that Czech marketing agencies and internal teams can use Claude without restrictions.
An important question is language support. Claude understands Czech at a very good level — it can generate Czech texts, understands the context of the Czech market, and can work with Czech realities. For marketing texts in Czech, it's a significantly better option than a year ago, although for creative texts it's still true that final human editing is essential.
Regarding EU regulation, Claude offers regional compliance including the option to process data exclusively on servers in the USA (US-only inference) at 1.1× the standard price. For companies that need to meet stricter data protection requirements (for example, under GDPR), an Enterprise plan is available with custom data retention rules, audit logs, and SCIM integration.
Pricing: From Free to Enterprise
Claude's pricing accessibility is broad:
- Free — free, basic access to models including web search and file creation
- Pro — $17/month with annual billing ($200/year), or $20/month. Includes Claude Code, Claude Cowork, unlimited projects, and Research
- Max — starting at $100/month, 5× or 20× higher limits than Pro, priority access during peak times
- Team — $20 per seat/month with annual billing, centralized invoicing, SSO, project sharing. Premium seat at $100/month with 5× higher limits
- Enterprise — starting at $20 per seat + usage at API rates. SCIM, audit logs, HIPAA, custom data retention
For a small Czech marketing team of up to five people, the Team plan comes out to roughly $100/month (with annual billing), which is comparable to ChatGPT Team ($25/month/user with annual billing, i.e. $125 for five people). For individuals, Pro at $17–20/month is a very competitive offer.
Competitor Comparison: Claude vs. ChatGPT vs. Gemini for Marketing
What makes Claude specifically strong for marketing? Above all, the quality of written text and tone consistency. Claude is known for generating more natural-sounding texts than ChatGPT, which sometimes slips into a uniform, easily recognizable style. For brand voice, copywriting, and content marketing, this is a crucial advantage.
On the other hand, ChatGPT has an edge in integrations — through plugins and GPTs it offers direct connections to Canva, Google Analytics, or social networks. Claude compensates for this with Cowork and the skills system — it's a different approach: instead of ready-made plugins, you build your own workflow that precisely matches your processes.
Google Gemini, in turn, benefits from integration with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) — for teams that live in the Google ecosystem, it's a natural choice. Gemini is also cheaper — Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite costs $0.25 per million input tokens, while Claude Haiku 4.5 costs $1/MTok.
What Claude for Marketing Can Actually Do — and What It Can't
Let's be frank: Claude won't replace a marketing strategist or a creative director. But what it can do today:
- Shorten the time from idea to first draft — brainstorming, structuring thoughts, and initial drafts can be done in minutes
- Automate routine reporting — with Cowork, you set up a weekly report that prepares itself; you just approve and add context
- Maintain a consistent tone of communication — you define brand guidelines once, and Claude follows them across all outputs
- Simplify complex topics — need to explain a technical product to the general public? Claude can translate "tech-speak" into understandable language
- Prepare materials in various formats — from one analysis, you get a report, slides for management, and a LinkedIn post
What it cannot do: independently decide on creative strategy, verify facts without human oversight, or replace knowledge of a specific market and customers. As Anthropic itself emphasizes in the Cowork tutorial — "anything that sends data or shares it waits for your approval."
Can Claude write in Czech at a native speaker level?
Claude understands Czech very well and can generate comprehensible Czech texts. However, it is still not at a native speaker level — awkward sentence structures or imprecise expressions occasionally appear. For final publication, we recommend human editing, especially for creative and marketing texts where every word matters.
Do I need technical knowledge to set up Claude Cowork?
Not for basic use. The skill is defined in natural language — Claude itself will ask you what it needs. For more advanced integrations (connecting to company databases, APIs), basic technical knowledge or collaboration with the IT department is helpful. However, creating a marketing report itself can be done purely conversationally.
What's the difference between Claude Pro and ChatGPT Plus for an everyday marketer?
Claude Pro costs $17–20/month, ChatGPT Plus $20/month. Claude excels in natural-sounding written text and tone consistency; ChatGPT has the advantage of a broader range of plugins and integrations (Canva, DALL-E for images). Claude Pro also includes Claude Cowork for automation and Claude Code for more technical tasks. For purely text-based marketing, Claude is the stronger choice; for multimedia campaigns, ChatGPT may be more practical.
